y RE: LOUISIANA FOWER & LIGHT COMPANY NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION Docket No. 50-382 Waterford Steam Electric Station Unit 3

Dear Mr. Wolfe:

I am writing at this time to advise the Board of several supplemental agreements regarding discovery which have been reached beiween Joint Intervenors, and Counsel for the NRC and the Applicant herein. Further, there are additional enclosures which have been prepared as a result of our telep' hone con (erence yesterday.

At the outset I wish to advise the Board that with the consent of counsel for the NRC and for the Applic, ant, Joint.Intervenors have obtained an extension of three weeks, or until January 16, 1980, in which to file their Answers to the Interrogatories posed by the NRC and Applicant. This delay is necessitated by seve al personal problems which have decended upon ma simultaneously, and of which I have made opposing counsel fully aware.

Enclosed in this letter you will also find a copy of the letter which I am sending to Mr. Trowbridge, this date indicating the Joint Intervenors position with regard to the Applicant's opposition. F_urther, you will find a formal Motion to Compel Answers as to the Interrogatories 22-4, 22-5, 22-7 and 22-8, which we herewith file with the Board for appropriate disposition.
