j JUL 2 13/9 MEMORANDUM FOR: Unresolved Safety Issues Program Roster FROM:
S. H. Hanauer, Director Unresolved Safety Issues Program
SUBJECT:
DOCUMENT FLOW FOR Ut! RESOLVED SAFETY ISSUES PROGRAM Implementation of the Unresolved Safety Issues Program involves considerable interactions with a variety of organizations both inside and outside of ?!RR.
Because of this, guidance is provided in this note to assist in the orderly flow of documents through their signature and concurrence chains.
The attached charts are meant to indicate a minimum level of concurrence /
signatures / copies, etc. The originator of a documer.t (either Task Manager or Reviewer) should use common sense in applying the charts.
For uample, Managers within the divisions may want to be on concurrence for or receive copies of a much borader set of documents than is indicated in the charts.
Such requests should be honored as appropriate.
The documents for which the flow charts are applicable are the final work products of the initiator. The charts do not accourt for draft dccuments.
The initiator is, of course, expected to circulate di-afts of these documents as necessary to solicit comments from appropriate individuals.
Originators of documents are reminded that all documents general.ed within NRR including internal memoranda, correspondence and meeting and trip reports that relate to a specific generic technical task should have the tark number in the upper lef t hand corner of the first page (in the same location as the doc-ket number on case related documents). The designation should read " Generic Task No. X-XX" where the specific task number is used in place of the X's.
