DISTRIBUTION LISTS The attached draft distribution lists were developed based on your input.

However, I have taken liberty of modifying some (or generating some where I got no input) to include individuals I believe should routinely receive in-formation regarding your tasks.

For example, I attempted to assure that all reviewers assigned to the tasks were included on the distribution lists.

An-other example was the addition of S. Varga as Assistant Director for Light Water Reactors to most lists to assure that the Light Water Reactor Projects people were kept informed of USI activities.

Please review your list and let me know by COB, Tuesday, August 14th if the list is satisfactory or if any changes are needed.

DISTRIBUTIO.1 0F USI DOCUMEtJTS The attached distribution lis-Sould be used by all USI personnel as guidance in establishing the distribution for USI related documents.

For the most part, their use is envisioned for internal memoranda.

Suitable additions or omis-sions should be made by the originator as needed.

Examples of documents that would likely receive r.uch broader distributions would be neeting announcements which usually go to di fiRR Branch Chiefs and above as well as individuals in-volved in the tasks.

Please remember that all USI documents generated should include the generic task nunber in the upper left hand corner.

I have noted many instances where this was not done (including some from our office).

Provide the attached distribution lists to your secretary, who usually does a much better job of remembering to use them than we do. Whenever changes dre desired in the distribution lists, Task fianagers should notify Sue Lynd (x27754),

who will modify and distribute revised lists periodically.

Task Managers must assure that contractor reports related to USI tasks get broad distribution.

The distribution of contractor reports is often too narrow within fiRR.

In this regard, Steve Hanauer and I should receive a copy (one copy for both) of all such reports related to USI tasks.

We will return them, if we don't wish to retain them. Thanks.
