SUBJECT:
PRESENTATION AND DISCUSSION OF DRAFT POSITIONS FOR SUBSECTION IWF, SECTION XI ISI AND IST OF SNUBBERS A primary objective of TAP A-13 is to incorporate acceptable ISI and IST procedures for snubbers into Section XI of the ASME Code.

Positions developed jointly by TAP A-13 participants representing NRR, IE and SD were presented to the IWF WG at Richl?nd, Washington, on
- September 26. The November 1978 meeting of the WG will be held in Bethesda, at which time coments on the NRC submittal will be discussed.
On September 27, H. Shaw and J. Kovacs met with DOE FFTF Profes Of rice and HEDL staff members. The objective of our meeting was to d1rcuss our past experience, present and future efforts to develop acceptdole analytical and testing methods for snubbers.
In addition to the exchange of views and sharing our experiences, we agreed to continue our liaison and cooperation in the pursuit of our common goals. The agenda and list of attendees are attached.
