WM 9 1973 MEMORANDUM FOR: Victor Stello, Jr., Director Division of Operating Reactors FROM:

Roger J. Mattson, Director Division of Systems Safety

SUBJECT:

REVISIONS TO TAP A-30 In response to your April 13, 1979 memorandum on the above subject, we agree that explicit information transfer requirements should be incorporated into TAPS A-30, A-35, and A-44 The TAP A-35 Task Manager (formerly E. Wenzinger, presently undesignated as of 4/22/79),

has been invited and has attended the TAP A-30 meetings in Bethesda with the contractor, as has a representative of the Plant Systems Branch (M. Chiramal). The latter representative provides coordination of the DC Power System Survey with TAP A-30 We therefore feel that duplicate efforts are being avoided and that all areas of concern are being pursued.

By copy of this memorandum, we are requesting Probabilistic Analysis Staff (Gordon Edison and Pat Baronowsky) to incorporate specific interfaces in TAP A-30 that are required with other TAP's.

Similar specific interfaces will be included in the development of TAP A-44.
