SUBJECT:

CATEGORY A TECHNICAL ACTIVITY N0. A-37, " TURBINE MISSILES" On February 8, 1978, the Technical Activities Steering Committee approved the content of, and the completion schedule for, the subject technical activity. As stated in the Task Action Plan, the Structural Engineering Branch has lead responsibility for the Damage Probability (P ) task.

3 Accordingly, SER should allocate sufficient manpower to complete this task in the time allotted by the program schedule.

Enclosed is a copy of the approved version of the TAP (Enclosure 1) that shows the end products that are to be achieved by each task. Also enclosed is the latest version of the report section on the Damage Probability task (Enclosure 2). is an outline of recommended writing and edit-ing guidelines that should be followed so that the writing style will not differ significantly from section to section.

SEB is asked to review and edit the report section on Damage Probability, following the writing and editing guidelines and incorporating the objectives of this task, as outlined in the TAP, in the technical report.

In order that this technical activity remain on schedule, it is requested that SEB submit the final version of this report section to the Task Manager by March 31, 1978.
