Enclosed is a letter from Dean R.R. O'Neill, Dean of our Engineering School, requesting extension of the UCLA Facility Operating License No. R-71.
The request has been reviewed and approved by the Responsible Officer for the reactor, Vice Chancellor J.W.
Hobson.
I have also reviewed and approved the request in my capacity as Director, Research and occupational Safety.
The main purpose in my writing this transmittal letter is to request that you change your records to indicate that all future correspondence relating to Facility License No.
