SECY-A-79 DIRECTOR'S PARTIAL DENIAL OF 2.206 FOR LIMERICK In denying part of ?Ar. Romano's petition, the Deputy Director of NRR relied in part on ongoing reviews in the following areas:
1.
whether the present seismic design bases are adequate to account for the effects of nearby blastina and the likelihood that nearby blasting will reactivate old faults at the site; 2.
whether further action is required under IE Bulletin 79-14, and 3.
whether PEC0's reanalysis and corrective actions cor.cerning the separation gaps are adequate.
Please provide a schedule for staff review and resolution of these issues.
