Activities conducted under applicable criteria of Appendix E of 10 CFR Part 71 to be executed with regard to transportation packages by March 1,1980.

The shipping activities authorized by this acproval are procuremen*.,
maintenance, repair, and use. All other snipping activities (i.e.,
i design, fabrication, assembly, testing, and mccification) shall be satisfied by cetaining certifications frcm package suppliers that these activities were conducted in accordance with an NRC-approved QA progr am.
It shall remain the responsibility of the licensee-user that all transportation activities meet the requirements of 10 CFR 971.51.
