Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant, Unit 2 NRC Docket No. 50-341 Coastal Zone Management Federal Consistency Certification Pursuant to the requirements of Section 306 of the Coastal Zone Management Act of 1972, as amended (P.L.92-583, 94-370; 16USC 1451 et, seq.), the State of Michigan has adopted an approved Coastal Zone Management Program to facilitate the protection and responsible development of Michigan's coastal zones.

The Detroit Edison Company has reviewed its plans for the final construction and operation of the Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant Unit No. 2, located in Frenchtown Township, Monroe County, and has determined that the facility will comply with the policies and requirements set forth in the approved Michigan Coastal Zone Management Program. The Company hereby certifies that the construction and operation of the Enrico Fermi Atomic Power Plant Unit No. 2 will be conducted in a manner consistent with such program.
