UNIT 1 - SEPARATION OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEMS

Dear Mr. Stolz:

This is in response to your letter of November 30, 1979 to Mr. E. A. Borgmann. By that letter you required that CG&E conduct a field audit of the installed electric equipment and systems to determine conformance to the separation criteria stated in the Zimmer FSAR.

This is to advise that CG&E intends to comply with your requirements as specified. We wish to point out that during the course of the NRC staff electrical review, CG&E was required to perform a similar check for compliance with the separation criteria.

Very truly yours, THE CINCINNATI GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY A # e e 7 d??2%.- Y JAMES D. FLYNN, Manager Licensing and Environmental Affairs JDF: dew cc: Charles Bechhoefer Glenn O. Bright Frank F. Hooper Troy B. Conner, Jr.
