As reouested by IE Bulletin 79-24: a review of the safety-related process, instrument and samolino lines, was cerformed to determine the adecuacy of freeze orotection. Those safety-related pipes that are exposed to freezinc temoeratures are sufficiently insulated and heat traced.

The sensors that initiate this freeze protection are located in such a manner as to be reoresentative of the exposed section of piping.
