Your May 16, 1979 letter alerted us to the fact that Certificate of Compliance No, gfor the Model B3-1 radioactive material shipping cask expires on December 31, 1979.
I Union Carbide Corporation is an owner and registered user of the B3-1 cask.
We request that the certificate of compliance be renewed and tnar Unicn Carbide continues to be a registered user under the renewed certificate.
Nuclear Engineering Company (a subsidiary of Teledyne Energy Systems), the principle licensee of the cask, informed us that they will officially request the renewal.
