Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties - $4,500 This is to notify the Commission that a Notice of Violation and a Notice of Proposed Imposition of Civil Penalties in the approximate amount of Four Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($4500) will be issued on or about March 2,1979, to Twin C ty Testing Co. for two alleged violations of NRC requirements.
The violations involved a personnel exposure of about 21.6 rems and a failure 'o make a proper survey of the radiographic exposure device (a repeat item) following a radiographic exposure using a 49 curie iridium 192 source on November 15, 1978.
A news release will be issued about the time the licensee receives the Notices.
The State of Minnesota will be informed.
It should be noted that the licensee has not been specifically informed of the enforcement action.
