TRAVEL FUNDS WMUR is currently in a bind because of an unanticipated high level of travel related to:
1 UNC Church Rock tailings dam breach investigation 2.
Environmental review scoping meetings (new NEPA requirement) and site visits related to direct licensing in Agreement States 3.
Inspections of tailings impoundments in Agreement States 4.
Environmental review scoping meetings (new NEPA requirement) and site visits related to non-Agreement State licensing 5.
GEIS hearings Our expenditures to date in FY80 have been approximately $8K. We anticipate another $10K is needed during this quarter to fulfill our regulatory responsibilities.
Would you please take whatever steps are availatie to identify additional travel funds for WMUR.
