10 CFR PART 61 - LLW REGULATION We received the draft LLW regulations on October 30, 1979. As requested by Dale Smith (NMSS) I telephone on November 1,1979 my comments to Ken Perkins, SD.

Stressing the short review I made two comments to Ken concerning this draft:

1.

that the regulations de not cover all radioactive material and 2.

clarification is needed for the role of the independent waste processor.
