Summary of Meeting Held on Sept a ber 21, 1979, to Discuss the Appendix K Analysis for Dresden Unit No.1 NRC, Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO), and Exxon representatives met in Bethesda, Maryland, on Septa ber 21, 1979, to review the status of the Appendix K evaluation being performed for Dresden Unit No.1.
A list of the meeting attendees and the agenda are attached.
Ceco requested the meeting to solicit coments and recommendations for the Appendix K evaluation and present the schedular requirements. Since startup is scheduled for September 1,1980, review of the model must be completed by December 1979 to allow review of the large break spectrum in January 1980 and the small break spectrum in February 1980.
Following Exxon's discussion of the model and the approach of detemining which breaks are to be analyzed, CECO requested expeditious review of their April 1979 submit'a. r that staff concerns can be factored into the additional analysis now in progress. The staff cemitted to establish review target dates and to infom CECO of the review status as quickly as possible.
