New N. R.C. Regulations concerning a Q. A.
Program (10 CFR Part 71) were forwarded to Picker about a year and a half ago. After review by our isotope committee, it was determined under the grandfather clause that no Picker actions were required.
Picker was notified by the N.R C. In your letter dated "eptember 10, 1979, that we have been deleted as users of our packages because we failed to submit our quality program as required in 71.12 in 10 CFR part 71.
We have generated the enclosed Q. A. Policy (QAB-1199). Accordingly we wish to register as users of C.O.C. number 5796 for the 181371 and 181361 shipping containers and C.O. C. number 9011 for the E-MEH-00-00004 shipping container in accordance with 71.12 of 10 CFR part 71.
Picker at present has been shut down because of being deleted as users of our containers. Your expeditous help in resolving the matter will be greazly appreciate d.
