This refers to your letter dated September 11, 1979, in response to our letter
dated August 15, 1979.
Thank you for informing us of the corrective and preventive actions documented
in your letter. These actions will be examined during a subsequent inspection
of your licensed program.
Regarding your response to item C, it is our understanding that corrective
action for this item will involve the development of a procedure describing the
radiation protection precautions to be observed during replacement of the ion
exchange filter. We also understand that this procedure will be developed for
use prior to the next replacement of the ion exchange filter.
Regt.eding your response to item D, it is our understanding that within 3 months
from the date which dosimetry results are received for a given monitoring period,
all exposures will be posted in an individual's exposure history.
The above understandings were reached during a telephone conversation between
Mr. L. Thelin and Mr. D. Donaldson on September 21, 1979.
If our understanding
is different from your intent, please notify this office within 10 days of
receipt of this letter.
