This refers to the survey condu. ed by Mr. D. G. Anderson of this office on July 31-August 1,1979, covei :ng selected activities associated with your administration of the ASME Code Stamp System and to the discussions of our findings with members of your staff at the conclusion of the survey.
The areas examined and our findings are discussed in the attached report of survey. Within these.arer.:, the survey consisted of an examination of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the inspector.
In accordance with Section 2.790 of the Commission's " Rules of Practice" Part 2, Title 10 Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter together with the enclosed report of survey will be placed in the Comission's Public Document Room located at 1717 H. Street, Washington, D. C.
If this report contains any infomation that you believe to be proprietary, it is necessary that you make a written application within thirty (30) days to this office to withhold such infomation from publi;.
disclosure. Any such application must include a full statement of the reasons on the basis of which it is claimed that the infomation is proprietary, and should be prepared so that proprietary infomation identified in the application is contained in a separate part of the document.
