NOTICE OF WRARTH: ON APFLICATION OF METROPOLITAN EDISON COMPANT FOR A PROVISIOKAL CONSTRUCTION FERMIT FOR THE THREE MILE ISIAND NUCLEAR STATION, UNIT 1, DOCKET NO. 50-289 I plan to have a notice of hearing published in the Federal Register not later than January 27, 1968, scheduling a public hearing on the application of Metropolitan Edison Company for a provisiocal construction permit for the Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 in the Middletown Moose Rome, Middletown, Pennsylvania, on March 5, 1968. The pre-hearing conference would be scheduled for February 20, 1968.
The fom of the Notice of Rearing vill be the same as that of the notice issued in the Pacific Gas and Electric Ccmpany (Diablo Canyon) case.
This schedule has been approved by the Office of the Atomic Cafety and Licensing Board Panel.
