CONSTRUCTION FATALITY A
iron <orker installing reinforcing steel in the WNP-1 steam generator

wall fell 37 feet at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Monday, July 23, 1979.
Tre worker was taken to the local hospital where he died from the injuries at 9:30 p.m. Monday. The licensee has convened a Safety Review Ecard to investigate the incident.
A press release on the fatality will be issued by the licensee today.
Region V (San Francisco) was informed of the event by the plant Quality As surance Manager by telephone at approximately 8:30 a.m. on July 24, 1975.
