SHIFT SUPERVISOR OVERCOME B'; HEAT EXHAUSTION The Unit i shif t supervisor was taken to the hospital by ambulance at 3:28 a.m.,
August 1, after suffering from heat exhaustion.
He was stricken after leaving the main condenser feedwater heater area, which he entered with another operator.
Another senior operator on shift assumed his duties.
The shift supervisor was released by the hospital following an examination.

The State of Connecticut has been informed.
The media has been informed.
The Resident Inspector received notification of this occurrence by telephone from the licensee at 3:45 a.m., August 1, 1979.
