Dear fir. Engelken:

In response to the subject bulletin, WPPSS submits the following information for its projects UNP-1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

WN P-2 A review of the circuit breakers at the WNP-2 facility revealed that no Westinghouse type DB-50 or DB-75 circuit breaker is used in safety related systens.

Our 480V class breakers are Westinghouse type DS breakers with type LS trip units.

UNP-l/4 UESC's engineering has determined that Westinghouse type DB-50 and DB-75 circuit breakers are not being used on WNP-1/4

.. should be noted that Babcock and Wilcox has not yet selected the circuit breakers for the control rod drive tripping function redesign. A copy of IE Bulletin Tb. 79-11 has been sent to B&W to advise them of the problem with the Westinghouse breakers.

WN P-3/ 5 The Westinghouse DB-50 and DB-75 circuit breakers are not used on WNP-3/5, Westinghouse DS 416 circuit breakers are used on the 480V power centers. Thes", however, are solid state and nc t subject to the problem described in the bulletin.
