Gentlemen:

y o-Enclosed is a revised copy of " Supplemental Testimony of Louis Gittleman re-garding Fin 3ncial Qualifications", dated August 14, 1979. This version of Mr. Gittleman's testimony replaces his previously distributed ter tmony dated June 29, 1979.

Mr. Gittleman's August 14, 1979 testimony reflects the results of an updated run of the CONCEPT computer model for the cost of the proposed Skagit facility.

For your convenience, a copy of Mr. Gittleman's professional qualifications is attached to his prefiled tescisony. There have been no changes to his professional qualifications statement.

Also enclosed is the "NRC Staff S'ipplemental Testimony on Floodplain Manage-ment" by L. G. Hulman and E.A. Stull.

Attached to this testimony is Mr.

Hulman's statement of professional qualifications. The issues of financial qualifications and floodplain management will be scheduled for the hearing session to commence on August 27, 1979.

In addition, enclosed is an errata statement regarding the SER and SER Supple-ment. These documents will be offered into evidence by I. Peltier, the Licensing Project Manager, and have been previously distributed to the Board and the parties.

The Staff has discussed a tentative schedule with the Applicant regarding the August hearing. All of the outstanding issues discussed between the Board and the parties at the last hearing session will be scheduled for the August hearing with the exception of geology-seismology and the coal / nuclear health comparison (including radon).

Staff is not prepared to offer testimon~y at this time on these two issues and, accordingly, they will be scheduled for so 79 osaw oroc, i22',
