Dear Harold Denton,

By now you must have received my telegram beg-ging you to stop the homicidal act by TMI of releasing radio-active waste into the atmosphere. NRC, you must be aware, has gone on record that there simply is no safe dose of' radiation.

Please, please stop TMI from this act.

You know as well as I that the levels of radiation as announced at the time of the accident were not true.. but even using those figures, Dr. Gofman says there will be 15 to 18 extra deaths from lukemia within 3 to 5 years so how can this idea even have been conceived? Could it be profits before people? I know there are reputed to be 4 methods of getting rid of the lethal stuff but the fourth method is the cheapest....

Sincerely,

/
