PLANT OPERATIONS The following is a chronological description of plant operations for the month of December, 1978.
12/4/78 Monthly test of Emergency Diesels EG2A and EG2B performed successfully.
12/6/78 "B" charging pump out of service for power supply cable change over.
Environmental package out of service for calibration, returned ta service same day.
12/8/78
- 4 rod drive cooling fan out of service.
"B" charging pump returned to service.
12/10/78 "A" control air compresso: out of service due to leak in head.
12/12/78 #4 rod drive cooling fan returned to service.
"A" control air comp. returned to service.
12/21/78 EG2A out of service for redundant system check, returned to service same day.
12/23/78 Commenced load reduction to allow tube sheet cleaning. Also performed turbine stop valve test Returned to full power same day.
12/26/78 "A" LPSI pump out of service to change existing seals to mechanical seals.
"B" pump test run successfully prior to taking "A" out of service.
12/28/78 "A" rod drive MG act out of service for bearing replacement.
12/29/78 "B" LPSI run for 5 minutes to meet T.S. Requirements while "A" LPSI is out of service.
