Article II - Task Orders:
Task Order No. 3, Paragraph No. 3 - Statement of Work, add the following new tasks:

Conduct Review of piping analysis for the Brunswick recirculation

Also, preform comparative evaluation of this design and Duane Arnold, and evaluation of Duane Arnold replacement fitting design.
This evaluation will address only the transition fitting and not the overall recirculation piping analysis.
Results of this analysis will be incorporated in the Final Report.

Provide travel and participation of Battelle and Parameter, Inc.,
in the Pipe Crack Study Group review meeting on October 31,1978 in Washington, D. C.

Provide travel and :echnical support to NRC in ED0/ Licensee Public Hearing Sessions at Cidar Rapids, Iowa, November 14, 1978 (re:
Duane Arnold Facility).

Provida additional detailed examination in areas of Metallography, Fractography (SEM) and Microprobe analysis, as determined necessary at the BCL/IE meeting of October 26, 1978, to fully characterize the failure mode and possible influencing contaminants.
Results of this extended analysis will be incorporated in the final report.
Paragraph No. 4 - Report Requirements, is changed to read:
"The results of the additional analysis and evaluation shall be incorporated in the Final Report under Task No. 3."
Paragraph No. 8 - Cost Ceiling, is changed as follows:
Delete the amount "$52,000.00" and insert the amount "$92,000.00."
2.
Article X - Obligations, Subparagraph (a), as modified, is changed to read:
"The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this coritract is $47,500.00."
3.
The contract amount is hereby increased by $47,500.00 from $65,500.00 to
$113,000.00 by reason of this modification.
