Dear Chairman Rosenthal:
On October 18, 1978, the NRC Staff received a telefaxed copy of " Inter-venor State of Oregon's Motion for an Extension of Time in which to File Exceptions to the October 5,1978 Order of the Atomic Safety and Licens-ing Board." This motion, which was captioned as being "Before the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board," requests an extension of time for the State of Oregon to file any exceptions it may have to the Licensing Board's October 5,1978 Initial Decision in the referenced proceeding.
The NRC Staff has no objection to Oregon's request for additional time, until November 13, 1978, in which to file exceptions.
