This is in reference to your August,1979, monthly progress report for NRC contract FIN B0279.
The staff has no comments on specific project reports. However, several remarks are made in section F-4, concerning the general nature of these aonthly reports, which I would like clarified. We are asked to note that these monthly reports are preliminary and corrections are frequently made as wrong and late charges are discovered.
It is further stated that no figure in these reports should be considered precise.
I hope that these remarks do not indicate a less than rigorous attempt to accurately report all efforts.
Please incorporate your response to this comment in your next monthly progress report. Please contact me (FTS 427-4103) if you have any questions regarding this matter.
