Docket No. 71-0248 In accordance with the quality assurance requirements established in 10CFR71 for Type B shipping packages, and the NRC letter of 17 September 1979, to us requesting modifications to our submittal of 31 August 1979, enclosed are seven (7) copies of the Engineered Products Department, Monsanto Research Corporation, Quality Assurance Manual NPD-STD-001, Rev. 4.
Please destroy all copies of Revision 3.
Sections 3.6 and 18.4 have been revised per suggestions in the above referenced NRC letter and subsequent telecons with J. Spraul of the NRC.
We look forward to receiving acceptance of these last changes and your approval of our QA program for Type B shipping containers.
