Dear Mr. Regan:

SUBJECT:

COMMENTS ON THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL STATEMENE FOR RUSSELLVILLE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, RUSSELLVILLE, ARKANSAS In response to your letter dated June 27, 1979, the FAA would like to clarify the classification of the proposed airport at Russellville and solicit a response from your agency that would be related to this infor-mation. Your letter called the proposed airport " General Utility", but it is classified as a Basic Transport airport and is being planned with the capability for instrument approaches. The runway being 6000 feet long and 100 feet wide will be utilized by many light business jet type aircraft.

If you have any objections to any projected over-flights we would cer-tainly want them to be resolved before construction begins.

Sincerely,.

/
