Dear Mr. }bcDonald:
General Atomic Company has made application for revision of the subject lic-ensed shipping package closure.
Subsequently additional submittals have been made in response to requests for additicaal information and or certain changes in technical content. This submittal when added to our previous sub-mittals provides a complete and referenceable addendum to the package descrip-tion, design and supporting safety analysis.
Your staff has requested that additional information be included on three drawings contained in the Safety Analysis. We have revised the three drawings.
In order to properly include these drawings into the GADR-55 Addendum 1 (Description and Safety Analysis document), we must generate a new revision. This will be done by replacing the addendum's cover page, page II-2 and a new issue A to the three drawings.
Attached are the new pages, cover and drawings. Please remove the corres-ponding outdated revision C matter and insert the revision D information in its place.
We understand that you can now issue our requestod revisions to the subject Certificate of Compliance covering an alternate lid arrangement. We look forward to its prompt issuance.
