NOTICE OF ISSUANCE OF DIRECTOR'S DECISION UNDER 10 CFR 2.206 On April 18, 1979, the Potomac Alliance, et al., requested that an order be issued to the Virginia Electric and Power Company to suspend further action on the steam generator repair program dt the Surry Power Station, Units 1 and 2, pending preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement and completion of other requested relief. The Alliance's petition has been treated as a request for action under 10 CFR 2.206 of the Commission's regulations. Upon review of the petition, the Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation has determined not to grant the Alliance's requested alief. Accordingly, the Alliance's petition is denied.

Commission's review in accordance with 10 CFR 2.206(c) of the Commission's regulations.
As provided in 10 CFR 2.206(c), this decision will constitute the final action of the Commission twenty (20) days after the date of issuance.
