DRAFT UPGRAI)ED SITE EMERGENCY PL1N By letter dated October 10, 1979, the NRC requested that an upgraded emergency plan for the Big Rock Point Plant be submitted five weeks after the NRR review team site visit.
Consumers Power Company is submitting the attached draft, dated October 18, 1979, of our " Big Rock Point Site Emergency Plan" in accordance with the format of Regulatory Guide 1.101, the requirement of Appendix E to 10 CFR 50 and the acceptance criteria contained in Emergency Planning Review Guidelines Number One - Revision One, dated September 7, 1979.
Since the NRC has requested that the upgraded plan be submitted for evalua-tion, Consumers ' rower Company has deviated from our normal Site Emergency Plan revision methods - revising the FSAR (FHSR in the case of Big Rock Point) and issuing appropriate page changes.
In the present case, Consumers Power Company will not implement the upgraded Sit.e Emergency Plan until after the NRC has coupleted its evaluation.
