PURPOSE:
To review the criteria for tripping the reactor coolant pumps (RCPs) and terminating operation of the high pressure injection (HPI) system. Specific agenda items with respect to tripping the RCPs include:
(1) plant specific instrument err s on wide-range pressure instrumentation (2) calculational errors (3) setpoints for safety injection on W plants and criteria therefor With respect to HPI tennination agenda items include:
(1) common HPI termination criteria for all procedures (2) relevance of North Anna and Prairie Island events (3) feasibility of degree of subcooling as criterion for HPI tennination.
