Dear Mr. Robbins:
This is in response to your letter dated October 9,1979.
Your letter appealed the fact that NRC did not provide you with a free copy of NUREG-0575, Final Generic EIS on Handling and Storage of Spent Light Water Power Reactor Fuel, 3 volumes.
For your information, NRC has a trial program undeneay which allows for free distribution of single copies of final NUREG reports to persons who have commented on the draft report or persons who have identified themselves in a written request as a participant in any ongoing NRC proceeding. A copy of NRC announcement No. 93 concerning this program is enclosed.
The availability of final reports is noticed in the Federal Register.
Since the Lake Michigan Federation has outstanding petitions before the Commission regarding the Bailey Plant, Docket 50-367, a copy of NUREG-0575 is enclosed.
