Dear I'.r. Chairman:
The f3C appreciates the opportunity to comment upon H.R. 4766, a bill to amend the Federal Tort Claims Act in regard to atomic testing.
As you are aware, the " nuclear weapons" function of the Atomic Energy Commission has been trans-ferred to the Department of Energy.
Because the proposed legislation does not relate to the regulatory functions of the fiRC, the Commissian declines c omment.
