Enclosed is a copy of the "f'otice of Proposed Renewal of Amended Facility License" which is being filed with the Office of the Federal Register for publication. The notice relates to your application dated July 2,1979, for a license amendment to renew Amended Facility License No. R-83 for your TRIGA Reactor.
The expiration date for this license is August 4, 1979.
Since your appli-cation was submitted at least 30 days prior to the expiration date of your license, you have satisified the requirements of 10 CFR Part 2, Section 2.109, entitled "Effect of Timely Renewal Application." Accordingly, pursuant to 10 CFR 2.109, the existing license will not be deemed to have expired until the application has been finally determined.
