Regarding ARTICLE I - SCOPE OF WORK - Section D. Deliverables, Part 3. is modified to "The draf t report which has been submitted under the orioinal terms include the following:

the contract will be made available by NRC for public comment over the period October 15, through December 15, 1979.

The Contractor shcll consider modification of the draft of the final report based upon public comments received on the draft report.

The Contractor is under no constraint from the NRC or NRC staff to modify the report because of comments received; any changes shall be a consequence of the merit of the comments received.

This no-cost modification is based on the assumption that no significant revision of the report will be required as a result of the public comments.

If the piblic comments received are of such an extent and the incorporation of same into the final report would require funds in excess of those available under this contract, the Contractor shall submit a cost proposal and obtain NRC approval prior to commencement of work."
