Please find enclosed infor aticn requesting route approval in accord-ance with 10CFR Part 75 for shipments of waste material centaining irradiated reactor fuel.

The material will be shipped from General Electric Vallecitos Nuclear Center to Nuclear Engineering at Hanford/Richland, Washington.

A primary and alternate routing has been submitted for your review.

It is our opinion that the planned step-overs for food and fuel be finali:ed upon an approved route. This type of information must be obtained in conjunction with the carrier after rcute approval and based on the type of equipment required to acccmplish the move.

It is our intentien to utilize Tri-State 3btor Transit for all of the shipments.
