PENNSYLVANIA PUBLIC UTILITY CCMMISSION By petition filed September 7,1979 and received by the NRC Staff September 10, 1979, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission filed a request to participate as an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pursuant to 10 C.F.R.12.715(c). The Commission states that it is charged with the en-forcement of the Public Utility Code of Pennsylvania which " mandates safe, adequate and reliable public utility service at just and reasonable rates."
We believe that the Public Utility Commission is an interested State agency within the meani' g of 10 C.F.R. 52.715(c), and should, therefore, be admitted n
to participation under the terms of that regulation.
