OFFICE REVIEW CF CCMMISSION PAPER ON MISACMINISTRATICN REPCRTING A Ccmission Paper reccernending publication of a final rule recuiring medical licensees to report af sadministrations is enclosed for your reveiw, ccment, and cercurrence. Please cccment on the resource estimates in the Value/ Impact Analysis.
Because this rulemaking is controversial, the public ccccents will be presented to the Ccamission in detail. We have heard that scme physician's groups may want to go to ccurt over this rule. The detail in both the Ccmission paper and the sunnary and analysis of ccaments provides a ccaplete record for the rulemaking.
In NRC's rescensa to GA0 Repcrt EMD-79-15, "Repcrting Unscheduled Events at CcTrercial Nuclear Facilities:
0;:ortunities to Incrove Ntclear Reculatory Comission Cversight," the staff was cccmi:ted to have the misacainistration rule before the Ccr:nisisen in June 1979. We are likely to miss this deacline, but we clan to have this pacer cefore the Cecaission in July 1979.
