Dear Mr. Lawson:
We received your letter on Augtst 8,1979, endorsing a request from The Friends of the Earth to suspend all reactor activity at Etcheverry Hall, University of California at Ber.leiey and remove all plutonium and other radioactive materials. As Mr. Ramos of my office discussed with you Tuesday, August 28, 1979, the Commission has received no such request and therefore has no basis on which to take such an action.
Should you receive a copy of such a request, please notify my office.
