In regard to vour petition for rulemaking of August 19, 1977, please be advised that.he Commission has further delayed implementation of the requirements for pat-down searches of regular employees at nuclear power plants from August 1,1979 to November 1,1979. The delay is being granted for the reasons given in the enclosed copy of the notice submitted for publication in the Federal Registet.
