three (3) kilograms of U-235 at enrichments not to exceed 5%. The subject
.:.y June 13,1979, amendment application requests that the maximum possession

limit be reduced from three (3) to two (2) kilograms of U-235.
Nuclear and Radiological Safety and Environmental C'onsiderations,

Decreasing the possession limit of U-235 from three to two kilograms does not adversely affect the nuclear safety provisions of the license. Radio-7:
%57 logical safety practices, including envirorvental protection procedures, would rer.ain the same. The decrease should lessen any potential for

accidental release of radioactivity.
