NRC STAFF'S MOTION FOR EXTENSION OF TIME On June 27, 1979, this Board granted the Staff an extension of time until August 10, 1979 in which to file its " Proposed Partial Findings of Fact" in the captioned proceeding, based upon the unavailability of the members of the technical staff required to review the Applicant's filing and to assist Staff counsel in preparing the Staff's findings.
Based upon the priorities established by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation for review work by the technical staff, the unavailability of the Staff members involved in the preparation of Staff findings continued until this week. Those reviewers have now been directed to devote their immediate attention to the review of the Applicant's findings.
The Staff expects that it can complete that review within a short time. There-fore, we resnectfully move that this Board grant the Staff a two week extension of time until August 24, 1979 in which to file its " Proposed Partial Findings of Fact" in this matter.
393142 We believe that no prejudice to the Applicant will result from the requested extension since the proceeding has not yet been completed and no Initial Decision is irm.inent in this matter.
