NRC STAFF MOTION FOR. EXTENSION OF TIME By separate pleadings dated August 7 and August 10, 1979, Intervenor John Doherty filed amendments to his previously filed contentions 12,19,
'f 22, 29, and 33.
Under the Com6iission's rules of practice, the Staff response to the earlier filed amendments would be due August 27, and to the later filed pleading, August 31, 1979.
Since the Staff project manager will not be available to assist in drafting the Staff responses until August 24, the Staff requests an extension of time to respond to the August 7 amendments. The Staff will be able to file its response to both pleadings on August 31, 1979.
