[il August 13, 1979 United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, D. C.
20555 Gentlemen:
Please tell me why the Three Mile Island One is being treated differently than the other Babcock & Wilcox pressurized water reactors that were not damaged when the problem arose last March at Three Mile Island Two.
All the undamaged Babcock & Wilcox PWR's have been allowed to resume operation except TMI One. Why?
The economic impact on the utility and the cost of replacement power to consumers are enormous. I encourage you to change your position on TMI One.
Yours very truly,
/
