6.2 Timer To check the calibration of the electric timer reocrd t e time on the electric timer in section 1.0 of data sheet 91 and start the stop watch. After one tenth hour (6 min.) record the stop time of the electric timer and stop watch on section 1.1. of Data Sheet #1. This test may be done in conjunction with 6.3.

6.2.2 Subtract the start time from the Stop time and record the net reading in section 1.0 of Data Sheet #1.

6.3 Flow totalizer and Flow Indicgor Connect the filter and the calibrated flow totalizer in series with the installed flow totalizer as indicated in figure 1.

6.3.2 Read and record the position of the hand on the 1 cu. ft./

a:r 12/19/74 SP 1302-5.24 Revision 3 6.3.3 Run the pump until.approximately 10 cu. ft. have passed thru both totalizers (s 6 min.). Count the revolutions of the 1 cu. ft./rev. on both the calibrated and installed totalizers.

Record the number of revolutions and the final dial position of the 1 cu. ft. per revolution indicator on both totalizers.

6.3.4 Calculate the difference between the calibrated and the in-stalled totalizers and record on data sheet.

6.3.5 Calculate the air flow using the net time and net calibrated flow totalizer readings as indicated on the data sheet sec-tion 2.

Compare with the flow indicaotr start and finish readings and record the difference.

6.3.6 Remove the calibrated flow totalizer and return air monitor connections to normal.

6.4 Vacuum reading.

6.4.1 With normal air monitor connections made, connect the vacuum gauge into a tee an the suction side of the vacuum pump as indicated on figure 1.

6.4.2 Ir. stall new HV70 and Cesco charcoal air filters in the air monitor filter holder.

6.4.3 Start the vacuum pump and read and record the vacuum indi-cation ii, inches of mercury in section 4 df Data Sheet 1.

6.4.4 Remove vacuum gauge and return the air monitor to service.
